Dr. Allen Eaves, President and CEO of the StemCell Group of Companies

Dr. Eaves founded the Terry Fox Laboratory for Hematology/Oncology Research in 1980. In 1985 Dr. Eaves also became Head of the Division of Hematology at BCCA, VGH and UBC. Dr. Eaves has been President of the International Society of Hematotherapy and Graft Engineering (ISHAGE, now the International Society of Cellular Therapy), President of the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Treasurer of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT).

In 1993, he founded StemCell Technologies Inc. from which StemSoft Software Inc. was spun off as a separate company in 2000.
