STEMSOFT Software Inc. Licenses StemLab® Software to Cord Blood America

Vancouver, BC – STEMSOFT Software Inc (“STEMSOFT”), the leading provider of software solutions for cell therapy transplant community, is pleased to announce the licensing of StemLab, the leading cell therapy and cord blood banking laboratory software, to Cord Blood America’s cord banking laboratory in Las Vegas, NV.
“Our lab was looking for a proven solution that could manage all our product data electronically including the ability to generate complex outcome reports while providing a quick implementation,” said Dr. Geoffrey O’Neill, Laboratory Director for Cord Blood America. “Cord Blood America has committed to utilize BioE’s PrepaCyteCB Cord Blood Processing System to enhance cell recovery and product safety.The PrepaCyte CB procedure template comes built into StemLab out of the box as a standard workflow. This unique turnkey solution provides our bank with BioE’s FDA 510(k) cleared system to use in processing our cords while also providing us with the ability to track and analyze all our data electronically with minimal configuration work required on our end.”
StemLab is designed to manage and streamline the unique workflow followed in the cord blood laboratory. StemLab assists cell therapy and cord blood banking laboratories with heightening quality control, managing inventory and generating robust outcome reports including the ability to correlate product manufacture with clinical outcomes. “We are very excited to work with Cord Blood America on this project and look forward to having them up and running with a fully electronic workflow shortly,” states Mario Laszczak, Operations Manager for STEMSOFT.
